Today when coming back from the CCBR rally my temp gage was running 7 to 8 bars (it's normally 6). I sprayed water on the oil cooler and nothing changed. The fan was running but the oil cooler was room temp. The ambient air temp was 102. I shut it off and let her cool , she came down to 6 bars, as I rode home it climbed to 7 bars and held there. When I got home I scanned the cooler with my pyrometer and it was room temp. I let her sit for 2 hours and rechecked it and the cooler seemed to function normally, getting hotter as the engine warmed up. any ideas?
