    1996 R1100GS Transmission Install: Tiny parts on bolts, what are they for?

    I have the rebuilt transmission in my possession, and decided to mount it back to rear of engine tonight. It has been a few weeks since I removed it, and my notes are less than copious, so that now I am unsure as to how these tiny bits are to be aligned, and furthermore, what are they for...

    Spline lube, easy improved transmission support method for single shock bikes

    I don't know if this will help with dual shock bikes but for single shock bikes it's fast and easy. I bought two M8x1.25x60 hex cap screws from Lowes. One 48" by 1" nylon web strap with plastic friction buckle from outfitters. Sling the transmission as shown in the picture. Make sure you go...
