E3 Spark Plugs to replace the NGK

anyone have an E3 replacement for the NGK MAR8B-JDS for the 2013 RT...???

i have a set of E3.38 plugs for the V-Strom that have the same heat range, same thread diameter and pitch and same length...the only difference is the hex is 5/8" vs 14mm about .075" larger....

confirmed that a thin wall 5/8" deep socket DOES fit in the spark plug recess....:)

any thoughts on this...?

Thank you for your interest in E3 Spark Plugs. I am personally in the process of handling the large Power Sport update that the company is currently undergoing. We do not currently have any information on the NGK MAR8JDS but are planning on assessing our replacement capabilities of our plug versus that NGK and if needed develop a new plug. Since we do not currently know anything about that spark plug. (real heat range {not just the advertised}, projection into the cylinder, spark location, material composition, resistance and etc.)

I would advise not to use the E3.38 in place of that plug at the moment. While it may appear to have the same external physical dimensions, I cannot say for certain that we will/would offer our plug as suitable replacement until we get to that spark plug in our update.
