Wear and Tear

Does anyone have wear on the side of their GT? The metal on my frame above the footpeg has worn away from rubbing with my boots. Does anyone have a good fix for that? Do I have to re-paint it? Cover it up with something? It looks like crap. HAHA! :banghead

I could post a picture I guess... Just got the bike out from 4 years of storage.

Minor things like year and model can make a big difference in the accuracy of the answers. There are always year to year changes.
