Dump truck driver gets 26 years for motorcyclistsÔÇÖ deaths

An Arizona dump truck driver who killed four motorcyclists and injured five others has been sentenced to 26 years in prison.
Michael Jakscht received the sentence on Nov. 16 after being convicted of several counts in a crash at a Phoenix stoplight in 2010.
Following a trial this summer, he was found guilty of four counts of manslaughter, five counts of aggravated assault and four counts of endangerment.
Jakscht was tried on charges related to a March 25, 2010 crash in which he allegedly was under the influence of methamphetamine when he plowed into a group of motorcyclists stopped at a traffic signal.
