This is my first motorcycle in 30 years. The R100 is sitting in a friend's garage where it hasn't moved in 5 years. Looking forward to having club input to get it running. I hope to enjoy riding it on the weekends. I have owned several BMW cars and really love them.

Welcome Brad. Glad to have you as part of the family. Would love to see a pic of your new bike.

You have come to the right place to find like minded individuals who are passionate about Beemers and willing to share their knowledge and experience.

It would help if you filled out your location in your profile.

Hope to meet you on the road.

Good bike;

I still have a R100/7,'78 thats used to this day by me, its original owner:). Your RS is a fine machine and age seems to never affect these. Some work is going to be needed however for a sitting bike of 5 years. Once you're up and running again, its a go anywhere, go anytime kind of ride for sure. They're going to outlast us, no doubts, the old twins. Happy Trails to ya and welcome here. Randy

I cannot believe these guys didn't tell you to hit the Airheads forum ...
