Where to connect to high beam conductor - 2015 R1200R

I mounted the Cyclops LED auxiliary lights tonight. The Denali fork tube mounts worked perfectly too. The Cyclops lights come with a very nice wiring harness, in addition to the Skene automatic dimmer unit. Overall, wiring the lights is almost a plug-and play project. The connectors to the lights are impressive, when compared to most auxiliary lighting setups.

What is not apparent, is where I connect the Skene to the High Beam conductor on my 2015 R1200R LC. On Harley's, you can make the connection in the headlight fixture itself, or you can connect it closer to the battery on the High Beam conductor at the High/Low Beam handlebar switch.

Where is the best place to connect to the High Beam conductor? Unfortunately, I do not have a wiring diagram for this motorcycle.

Thanks - Peter Bucy

The high beam wire on the R1200R is the white wire in the headlight connector. You remove the connector in the headlight shell by pressing down on the clip on the harness side of the connector, then wiggle and pull the connector out.

Note that on older BMWs with the traditional BMW left/right turn signal buttons you can connect the Skene Design IQ-175 dimmer's yellow wire to the turn signal cancel switch (blue/white wire in the cable coming from the right handlebar switch) to toggle between 2 different brightness settings. That way you don't need to add another switch or button to the bike.
