Where do you shop for used accessories?

Hi everyone. I recently bought a 2011 R1200R with factory side cases. I'd like to add the factory top case and I'd like to know if you have any good places I should check. I've posted a wanted ad on MOA Marketplace and I'm watching Marketplace and eBay. Any other ideas on where to look besides buying new?

This bike is excellent. The only naked BMW I've had before was a 1983 R65 in blue. I've always regretted selling that one. This R1200R is sportier and a tad more powerful. Looking forward to miles of smiles in 2025!

I'd suggest BeemerBoneyard (put in a request to get notified), and try Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Also, check RealOEM.com to get the part number, and a list of all models that share it so you can expand your search to other models that use the same box.

Also, the r1200rforum is pretty active and has an international membership.

I finally bought new. I found a good deal on a new top case on eBay and got the rack kit and lock cylinder at my local dealer. Thanks everyone. Hope to meet you on the road.
