with the spacer there is no way to grab the bearing
actually there is....the bearing has a slight chamfer on BOTH sides of the ID bore AND the spacer has a slight chamfer on its ends....this allows for a collet bearing puller to grab onto the inside of the bearing and with a slide hammer the bearing can be "pulled" from the wheel without any heat or hassle.....
i have lost count on the bearings i have pulled with these tools....
