What to look for on 2000 K1200 LT

My brother is looking to buy a 2000 K1200LT. It has 100,000 kilometers (60,000 miles) on it. What should he/we be looking for on this bike? Weaknesses, potential problems, maintenence issues, etc.. The only thing mentioned as being wrong is that the CD changer doesn't work (big deal!). Paul Glaves, your wife would love it; it's RED! šŸ˜

Check your brake lines if they were replace. You have to be handy to own those bikes. It hard to find anyone that is willing to work on them. I have a couple of them they are nice bikes, but a lot of time consuming to get to anything. The last one I pick up has 14k on it, it needed a lot of time as I going through it from front to back. Along the way I made a lot of tools for it. Good luck with it they are nice bikes for sure.
