What are you listening to today?

The wind blowing and, if I listen closely when I go outside for a smoke, the $%&* snow falling AGAIN! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avenged Sevenfold

Started the day with Gunslinger and have been looping through all the albums.

Winding the evening down with And All Things Will End. :violin

Mostly these days I listen to XM radio, fav. channels are BluesVille, Fine Tuning, beyond Jazz, and channel 40 Classic Rock. The other day I head this track on Bluesville, very timely lryics then I realized listening to it later that another blues player that I listen to a lot has done this, I think under a different title, I think it might have been Paul Butterfield, which was the band that this guy in the video played with for years. Good Tune called Minor Blues done here by Buddy Whittington

Pixies.
Pixies
Pixies
Three days running.
Blasting.
My ears hurt a little.
But the rest of me is kicking ass.

I can't think of much out there that I like nearly as much as I like the Pixies. I don't listen to them that often. I sort of save them for when I have that itch that only they can scratch.

Damn. I'm loving this right now. It's perfect. Maybe louder.

ahh...yes.

even better.

Music can be so visceral. If I don't like it, I can't be in the same room. If I like it, I want to crank it wayyy up. The list of music I don't like is longer than the list of music I do like. Chances are, I don't like your favorite music.

Things I'd rather do than listen to -fill in blank-:
Drink orange juice after brushing my teeth.
Smell your belly lint.
Put gravel in my shoes and walk around the block.
Tongue a hungover girl that hasn't seen mouthwash yet.
Listen to Praire Home Companion.
Watch George W try to give a speech on anything.
Eat a rotten apple
Go through twenty busy 4-way stops in Portland.
Talk about how the forum sucks.
