Unknown warning light

I have a 2018 R1200RT that I picked up about a year ago with only 2,000 miles. Since then I have added another 3,000 miles. I observed a warning light come on next to the gear display. The warning light is a yellow triangle, but there is no exclamation point in the triangle? Under the triangle are three yellow bars in descending size? I was not able to find anything in the owners manual that would identify this warning light. Anyone know what this means? Thanks for your assistance.

I’m away from any resource, but my memory is that is an indication that a rear light is out. I’m *not* sure of this, but it’s something to check.

Also, you can go to BMW’s website and download your bike’s owner’s manual to look up the dash light meanings.

Is the gear indicator working properly? The fact that it disappears when downshifting or in neutral has me asking that. And without a photo, it doesn’t look like anyone has seen that warning before or can identify it. That likely means you’ll need a trip to the dealer service department to get it pinned down.

For reference, here is the list of warning signals from the 2018 RT manual. I don’t see anything there that looks like what the OP has described:
