Tulliver is excited about the rally!

We plan on heading in that direction, scooting from Vermont to the Colorado Rockies before slowing down to pee on the flowers. We'll spend a couple of days in Rocky Mtn NP followed by the scenic route over a few northern Colorado passes, then west along 40, up to Flaming Gorge and further up to I-80 for a couple hours before dropping down through the Uintas and emerging near SLC. Should the July heat be too much for Tully our bailout point is Craig CO. There we have the option of turning south and spending a week in the cooler heights of the San Juans and Collegiate Range before heading to Paonia for the Top of the Rockies rally.

At any rate, we're both excited and hoping for another reunion of old friends, another get together in the Red Dog Saloon, and meeting new family members we never knew we had.

Dogs at rallies are fine. Tulliver is always welcome.

If you think otherwise, you are at the wrong place and time.

Looks like a very happy and goofy dog.

Have you ever considered using Sena radios for comms while riding with Tulliver? :)

I haven't for two reasons. First, all my dogs are trained to voice and hand commands, so it's easy to communicate even with a lot of background noise. Secondly, while traveling with Barley he had a nasty habit of throwing over the side anything he felt infringed on his personal turf. I lost a few flashlights, a camp stove, an LED lantern and a few water bottles before finally giving up and learning to pack in a way that met with his approval.

that first pic of just AWESOME!!! It was really enjoyable to spend some time with you and Tully last summer. Not sure if i can make the trip all the way to SLC this summer or not.... work will dictate.
