Tires for ST

I know this has probably been asked before, but a search didn't turn up anything. My problem: 18" front wheel on my '97 F650 st. I've been looking hi & low for dual sport type front tire- to no avail. Anyone know a source, or brand in that size? (And no chun-kings, I value my life) I've heard some running a rear tire on the front, but I'm not sure about the size, etc. Any help appreciated
