If you are headed to the rally and planning on crossing the Tetons from Jackson, WY to Victor, ID you will need to reroute. A huge percentage of those who work in Jackson live in Victor and Driggs, and this is really going to mess up their lives. ☹️

Good information!
The Cowboy State Daily reminds me of good, old time newspapers and reporting. :clap:nod

Well the detour only takes two hours to go from Driggs to Jackson.
For us motorcyclists, yes. But two hours under normal traffic is sure to stretch out when vacation travelers and commuting loads are added. And even on a good day, it turns an 8hr workday to a 12hr day for the workers in Victor and Driggs, so there’s that. I think their initial estimate of weeks of closure may be optimistic; there doesn’t look to be a lot of mountain left on which to build a road.

Agreed 100% It will be a tough one to fix!

Out of Hoback Junctions Snake River Cabins Friday for Klim in Idaho.
There was a one mile backup northbound at the roundabout at 7:30 am.
Not a happy face in line.

We went through the traffic circle today (Sunday) about 2:30pm. Backup wasn't too long, but it took a few minutes to break into the circle. We were coming from Pinedale, heading to Alpine.

Ride safe, everyone! We saw several places where someone had taken out the Armco, failing to negotiate a curve.
