Starter Relay Repair Kit

1971 R50/5. Takes the expensive starter relay.

This kit is no longer available. (sold by Euromotoelectrics). Anyone have the instruction sheet or wiring diagram for it?

Due to the elimination of the starter lock out safety feature, this product is no longer offered. Please see either the BMW or EnDuraLast direct replacements.

Directions and components to replace the Original Electromechanical, SR9570 BMW Starter Relay. (Repeat Start Prevention Relay, commonly referred to as the "cricket" relay)

So what are you trying to do? I'm a little confused. Are you trying to convert the original relay in such a way so that it performs correctly, or are you trying to avoid paying the high price for a correct relay and looking to find some generic relay and do something inside it?
