Spot Light wiring

Does anyone know which 12+ wire I should connect my spot lights to come on the same time as the head light. I would like it even better if it were on a fuse.

You have not mentioned whether you wish them to come on with the High or Low beam.

In either case you will need to use that wire as a trigger only. You cannot add the full load of the spot lights to the existing wiring.
You will need a relay and a fused supply from the battery to power them.

The low beam trigger is White/Yellow
The High Beam trigger is White
 
I will tell you what I did on my R1100RS (an oilhead). My LED "spot" lights take power from the battery via a relay. The relay is energized by the head light low beam wire. In between the line from the low beam to the relay is a handle bar mounted switch. I also have a separate indicator LED near the switch. The indicator LED is powered by the line to the "spot" lights and has a 1k ohm resister in series to limit current.

Thus, the "spot" lights can only be turned on when the bike ignition is on. And the lights can be turned off via the handle bar switch. The indicator LED shows me that the "spot" lights are indeed turned on. I do have a 15W fuse between the battery positive terminal and the relay.

The spotlights have a adjustable controller with a high beam bypass for full intensity. I have a cable running to the relay box under the seat, having a difficult time finding where to connect so that the spot lights only come on with the key as the low beam does.

I'm trying not to add another wire to the battery post. The dimmer switch can turn the spot lights off, so I thought I would try it without an additional switch. Ground wire is not a problem, just looking where to land the positive from the key switch and on a fuse.

On the steering head under the tank there is an 8 position orange connector (Ignition switch interface)
Tap the green wire with a Positap and fuse it for the trigger.

Or, (as long as it is only a trigger) you can tap the blue wire on the diagnostic connector - it becomes + after the alternator is charging.
