Spark plugs wires 2004 rs

Hello, I have a question that I’m sure someone on here knows the answer to. I think I know but would like some others input. Thanks in advance. I have a 2 apart rs that had the wires that come out of the head somewhat melted. The plastic around the wires of the upper plug. No damage to the coil. The bike runs excellent even with the melted wires, go figure. Is there any way to change the wire completely from plug to motronic unit? I don’t think it’s possible without a splice but would like input. The wire seems to go rt up under the battery tray then to mo unit?😳 I figure this is the part I need to change. Thanks again https://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/DiagramsMain.aspx?vid=51763&rnd=07242017

If you're talking about the main center plugs, those use stick coils, which is triggered from the Motornic. The lower plugs are fired from a conventional coil mounted in front of the gas tank (at least it is on my '04 RT).

I just spliced in new stick coil harnesses on my RT as the connectors to the stick coils were cracking. Talk to Max as they should have the kits available.
