Hey all,
Anyone know of a good, fair Southern California shop? I need to replace my steering bearings and don't have the tools/know how to do it myself. At the end of August I should be all moved in to Poway,CA (N. San Diego) and would like to get them done then.
Thanks,
Chris

Brattin BMW in San diego was just bought out by one of the mechanics, a guy named Gary Orr. Gary kicks ass. He's a great wrench.

Here is a couple

for dealers Seaver in Orange Co. and Brown are very good and honest.

West Valley, make your own decision, people either like or hate her...

Thousand Oaks is new, some internal problems, nice people.

For independant mechanics I like Mitch at Mitch's Austrovarian. He is excellent. He was formerly the service manager at Marty's, Marty's was sold to Long Beach BMW (cars...) and Mitch started on his own. The best my bke ever ran was when Mitch worked on it.

So. Cal. Shop Info

Here's how to contact Mitch:

Mitch's Motorcycles, 800 West 220th. St., Torrance. 310-320-7090. $75/hr. flat rate. Competant and honest.

Good luck!
