As of 5/15 Sipapu Ski Area is ordered to evacuate due to New Mexico forest fires.

Sipapu is site of Bavarian Mountain Weekend rally every September since 1985, hosted by Land of Enchantment BMW Riders.

I met a fellow last Friday, said he had to evacuate from his place in Mora. Is Sipapu on fire?

Today the 26th Sipapu thinks its going to be good and the evacuation order is lifted. Nothing burned there.
