I got this '82 RS in 1990, and had the engine and chassis extensively modified by Dave Anderson of Anderwerks. The feature sheet was about a page and a half long:

I sold it when I got my '02 RS:

Well...unlike many of you, I just got my first, (and only), BMW five weeks ago...

Had many a bike since I was 15, but I figured it was time for a BMW, now that I'm in my mid-50s....:nyah

'95 K11RS...seems pretty good so far...:)

This one came home in the back of a VW Squareback. I found it at a yard sale in So. Cal. for $75. I took it completely apart and put it back together only to sell it for $300 without ever getting it running. If I only could have it back ... 1953 R51/3 with knobbies. After this I had a 1969 R75/5 (European with a big chrome-sided parade tank) for a short while and finally traded my Honda CB750K in for a 1974 R75/6. I was so hooked.

My R75/6. Purchased for $1650 in 1980 from original owner with approximately 4600 miles on it. Still have it.

My '84 R100 just after I brought it home in March of '84. The dealer told me it was one of two plain "R100" models to come to Canada that year.

Options were dual horns, engine guard bars, luggage rack and kick starter. The BMW bags were a no cost option that year.
