Sargent has a sale on now.
Looks like a 22% discount.
When you add a seat to the cart the sale price will show.
Heck if a deal. I bought mine seat set about 3 years back during some holiday type sale, got 15% off and felt like I'd stole 'em. 😁 It's one of those personal things though. If ya like the fit of the Sargent seats, you DID steal 'em at almost any price. If not, you'll want NOT to have paid too much for them, so maybe you can get most of your money back when you sell them off.

I've heard one rider put it this way: OEM seat, 2 hours in the saddle at best. Sargent Seats, at least 4 hours. Custom seats made for your particular bottom, like Russell's (R. Day Long), all day riding. I have one more proviso. "Custom seats NOT made for your bottom, about 5 minutes max.".

Short-story-long: The 2005 Hexhead RT I bought back in 2008 came with a custom made Corbin seat, which made a very good deal, even sweeter. (This was when the economy was crashing, and I think the guy needed to raise cash. Felt bad taking the bike from him, but he appreciated it.) I drove up with my son (then, maybe age 20), and rode the bike back. I strapped the stocker seats on the back, just in case, and road with the custom. Couldn't wait to discover the wonders of a custom built seat. (Last bike had been a 2001 RTP, with the "comfort" OEM seat, which wasn't bad at all. Was hoping for even better.) As soon as I hit the freeway, I was looking for an off-ramp, because my bottom hurt so badly. Ya see, this seat was made FOR the owner, who was about 5'8", 145 lbs. I was 6'2", 250-ish lbs. His seat pushed the rider forward. In my case, I was wedged between the back of the seat and the first third of the fuel tank, and it was indeed, a unique riding experience. Uniquely painful. So I pulled off the freeway into somewhere in LA I shouldn't probably have been, and swapped seats in the dark (no flashlight, of course), which took a whole lot longer than I wanted.

Anyhow, the way these things go, you'll probably LOVE the Sargent seat or hate 'em. Seems like there's no real middle point on seats, which is why BMW doesn't try awfully hard to make any sort of custom seating for their bikes. They try to build 'em for the middle of the market, which is probably THEIR 6' tall, 160 lb professional YOUNG rider. (Same issue with wind screens.) Trying to customize personal fits that customers will never be happy with, is a losing game for a motorcycle manufacturer. I think BMW does a pretty good job, but ya spend a lot of time on your seats, and a really good fit will make your ride a lot better. /end unnecessary pontifications
