Subject: Passing of a lifelong BMW rider

Hi John,

I’m writing on behalf of my Father Martin Pegelow. Yesterday around noon, on his way from the MOA rally in Oregon to the Black Hills Rendezvous he was struck by a semi and did not make it. I know he was meeting some friends from around the country at the rally. If you have the ability could you please post to a bulletin board or make an announcement so his friends have some answers as to why he did not make it. He was an avid rider with likely close to 300,000 miles on BMW’s alone and made many lifelong friends in the BMWMOA community.

Thank you,

Paul Pegelow

Ride easy, Martin.

Do we have a memorial thread here with some of the folks that have left us?

RIP Martin, and peace to the family. It’s always disheartening to hear of the loss of another rider.

Best,
DeVern

So sad. I'm in shock.
Marty was a MN Club Member for a number of years before moving to FL.
He always had a smile and was friend to all.
