Running naked?

My question isn't as interesting as the thread title might lead you to believe. I just finished replacing the stock brake lines on my, new to me, 2000 R1100RT with Spiegler lines. Bled the brakes including the ABS modules and everything seems fine. My question is; is there any danger in take it out for a short test ride with out replacing all the fairings?
Thanks.

I always use small zip ties through the fairing bolt holes to not lose the clips that the bolts screw into.

some shops charge 3/4 hr to r/r t'ware. i rode naked to the shop. looks like darth vader w/o helmet tho!

Make sure you put something heavy on top of your paperwork in the RT glovebox. It gets sucked right outta there around 70MPH!! :rofl

When Miley Cyrus is naked and licks a hammer it's "art", but when I do it, I'm "wasted" and have to leave the Service Department.

I test ride without fairings all the time. Beats the hell out of getting the Tupperware all buttoned up, only to have to pull it off again to make adjustments,

My wife saves twist-ties from bread bags and such (not sure why, she never uses them again). They work pretty well for this, only needing a single twist to secure, and a snip with wire cutters to remove.
