Riding Gear, One Piece Suit for Das Rally 2016?

Cousins,

With the upcoming 2016 Das Rally in Hamburg, NY, wondering if anyone else is thinking in advance about warm weather clothing and this option, and
‘Will you use your One-Piece Suit during your trip?”

I have an Olympia Motosports, Avenger One Piece Suit. I’ve worn it in balmy May 70 degree weather, all the way down to 29 deg and a snow storm on Lake Ontario, in March.

Distance 510 miles, S.E., Long Island, New York, Temps 85-88 deg, Night and Day riding.

Will you use a one piece suit on your trip, and open up the vents like crazy during our anticipated 88-90 degree weather during your ride to and from Hamburg, NY, and the 2016 Das Rally, or Two-Piece and Vent Mesh your riding apparell?

Looking out for answers!

Jim

Mesh Rider Gear

I just ordered a new riding suit from Revzilla specifically for summer riding in the midwest including traveling to the National Rally in Hamburg. I selected the Klim Induction Jacket and Voyager Air Pants. I picked those because I have been very satisfied with the Klim gear I bought for riding in colder weather. Good protection and great air flow. I took a test ride in beautiful Southern Indiana and the combination worked great. Highly recommend both Klim and Revzilla.

As the article suggests, I use base-layer tops and bottoms under my riding gear and it makes a significant difference (Klim and BMW). The beauty of it is that it has benefits on both hot and cold days. ;-)
