Dont force the finned nuts off if they're tight! I have used mac Headers and they are fine plus double walled!

way too LOUD. Also had to go larger on needle jet to make it run less lean. Some folks like the noise. I will be glad to see them gone.

Decided on Keihans. Have not heard anything but positive, except for the gold tone they acquire. They did not appear on the Rubber Chicken Racing site. Found that Moto-Bins price beat Bobs. Reluctant to order from across the sea, but took a chance. Total including pipes, crossover, clamps and shipping about $320. Ordered Sunday night. They arrived today. So far very satisfied.
 
Don't know why anyone would complain about stainless headers getting a gold tone.
This is normal toning when you heat stainless....can even happen to your SS cookware.
 
So the coloration issues are: goldish with stainless steel; bluing with chrome unless you're running a double walled header? Is that the breakdown?
