Replacement rear drive.

I purchased a 2016 R1200GS with 32K miles. Upon servicing the rear splines I found the u joint yoke was rusted and frozen to the rear drive. The movement was happening up at the transmission splines. I got the unit free from the rear drive but was not confident of the drive shaft integrity as I had to heat the u joint to get free. I purchased an aftermarket drive shaft from Ted Porter and it has a vibration at certain speeds while accelerating. I suspect the splines on the rear drive are worn as there was a lot of rusty crap that came from the frozen connection. Rusty crap means oxidized metal. My next step is to remove the drive shaft and double check the sloppiness of the spline fit. Maybe replace the final drive with known good splines. I'd like to move quickly as I have a long trip planned and am not real comfortable with the current conditions.
HELP!
