Raising the Costa Concordia

This is something that piques my interest-

I have watched in depth how they plan to do it, I wish I could be there to assist.

I hope the salvage company got a deposit from the insurance company- It took 8 months for me to get paid for taking a small plane out of a tree last year

Seriously, it is quite the undertaking using never-before tried techniques, I believe. Photos don't do justice to how massive cruise ships are (some are a whole lot bigger than the Costa) and how much force is needed to move the thing and stop it in a desired position. Failure will not be a good thing and could result in a huge pollution disaster, and a permanent monument to stupidity.
