Radar and Camera Farkles

I thought some of you might be interested to see how the install turned out of my Escort Redline 360c and ZR5 laser jammers, as well as front/rear Thinkware M1 cameras. See if you can spot where the laser jammers and camera are installed front/back. I was able to mount the Redline 360c on a magnetic plate on a RAM ball mount. The laser shifter and camera controls are below that. (And yes, I know, I didn't blur my license plate. Don't care. Thousands see it unblurred on the road each day.)

How do you like the M1 cameras? I have a u1000 for my suv and it’s flawless which I bought after a woman tried to cause an accident with me. I have a GoPro but the poor battery life has me rarely using it.

What about mounting the cameras? Are you using the stickies or hard mounted with a different mount ?

Like you, I primarily installed these for continuous "on" to record everything front and back, in case of an accident. It's nowhere's near as good as a GoPro, but the quality is good enough for my purposes. I'm not terribly happy with the stabilization of the image as I can't read license plates on the video unless I'm right up on the other car. But, it's always running and I don't have to worry about anything. I turn the bike on, and it's on. I've enclosed a shared link to my Dropbox, which shows a 1 minute video on one of my drives home. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lk81mwlnczyfry6/REC_2021_05_19_17_19_13_F.MP4?dl=0

BTW, I have BlackVue 900S Two-channel in my SUV and they are much better, but they're just too big to put on my bike. So, I went with Thinkware, given its relatively small footprint.

Thanks for the video. I think I’m going to get one of these.

I went with the Thinkware because of heat related failures of the blackvue unit. Never had a problem with the Thinkware and the quality is excellent .
