R1200RT Units Sold

I noticed a recall notice in this months issue of Cycle World for the 07 thru 09 R1200RT for front brake lines. The number of units involved in 1,535. That seems like a low number for 3 years of RT sales. No wonder I never see another RT on the road.♠

I think in the end it turned out that the recall applied only to the police model, hence the surprisingly low numbers. There are a lot more standard RTs than that out there.

You might very well be right Andrew as I called Jason at Mischler's and he said my VIN # was not on a recall notice.
