R1150RS Windshield “Adapter Plate”

All,
Looking to replace the the windshield on my R1100RS with a larger unit meant for an R1150RS.
I’m unable to locate a used “adapter plate” (bracket that fits between the adjuster plate and windshield) and cringe at the $215 price tag from BMW.

Might anyone have one of these for sale?

Would any of you R1150RS drivers be willing to provide the thickness of this part in case I decide to fabricate one?

On my 2000 R1100RS, I measure just a hair less than 1/8th".
The width is 7", and top to bottom is 5"".

Also note that it has a slight concave structure.

I ran my 1100 for a long time with the 1150 shield without that support piece. No issues.
