R1150R strange blinker/directional signal behavior

This is a head-scratcher for me. 2004 R1150R. I could not cancel the blinking left turn signal, either with the cancel switch or by changing to the right signal. Turning the flashers on, then off, canceled the left signal, but the right signal still could not be turned on. Shutting the engine off, then re-starting (The IT guys always tell me to re-boot.) didn't solve the problem. On a whim, I pressed down on all the relays and fuses, and the signals resumed working normally. Coincident with the blinker problem, my SENA bluetooth (powered from the bike's electrical system) misbehaved. I'm concerned that these seemingly spurious electrical issues could work their way into the ignition system. Any thoughts?

This suggests that a relay connection (or several of them) is intermittent. Remove and reseat each relay several times, cleaning the contacts with De-Ox-It on the first removal.
