i have 75k on my bike with no issues generally. one day recently went out for a long ride. next day, no start. it turns over, catches, and stays barely running at low rpm's for a few seconds, then shuts down. then all of a sudden a few days later bike starts and runs fine, for days. ran the tank down and decided to change the fuel filter and screen. started no problem for days. then yesterday same no start issue. i thought the breather tubes from tank down and out by rear tire might have been clogged. i don't think so, i can blow air through them.

ideas?

thanks in advance. spring is here....need to ride!

HES could be an issue but I would start with the basics of a good tune-up. Starts/runs for a few days then no start?

A good tune-up starts at the battery, fuses, ground wires and so on.
