Post a picture of your Oilhead

Both great bikes, love the period-correct RS vibes and man do I want an oilhead GS!
I bought that RS from Bob's BMW about a month after I got married in 1994. They also had a teal one and a Red "RSL" with the lower extension on the fairing. Unfortunately, the transmission on that RS took a dump just out of warranty. An independent mechanic fixed it for me for about $1,300. I went on to ride it for another 3 years until I sold it. Got the GS used in 2003 with 2,500 on the clock. It remains the bike by which all others have (and will) be judged.

Out and about.

Is mine the only one with the silver saddle to match the body work

Hope everyone is well and getting some miles on. Haven't ridden that much this year based on big life items [wedding planning, job change{s}, moving] but I did finally get in a great 2 day last week WAY up into/over VT and then down into NY/Adirondack Park. Fantastic weather and the r1100s continues to hum along in such a consistently enjoyable manner. Thinking about a Berkshires-Catskills-Finger Lakes loop this weekend to see IMSA at the Glen if anyone wants to meet along the way [weather providing, of course].

Have fun, be safe fellow Oilies!
