Patience and self cancelling signals

99007

El Dookey loves to ride.
Yes, grasshopper - they will cancel if you wait.

When I read about the Rockster in the May ON, I noted with pleasure that the bike came with self-canceling turn signals. Have ridden mine since June 30 (offical purchase July 8), put just short of 4k on it and just last night came to the full realization that I do indeed have turn signals that self cancel.

All youse gotta do is wait long enough for the darn thing to do it's job, Cliff. Prior to last night I noticed they did turn off "once in a while", but figured it was such a minor glitch I might mention it at the 6k tune-up. I also briefly thought the reviewer in the ON was wrong or that maybe he was issued a better bike than the one I bought!

Yeesh, did I fell like a dummy. Well, confession is good for the soul - thanks for listening to my latest in an seemingly endless life of mechanical dundering... (izzat a word?)

You asked me what?

Never ask Cliff any questions about any mechanical aspect of his motorcycle or car. I know how to spell B*M*W, I know it is an 1150 cc machine with 6 forward speeds. It takes mid-grade gas to run it and there is this little glass thing for me to look at to see if she needs earl.
RE: Electrical vs other speedo.

hmmm, it ain't digital - is that what you mean?

(I told you I am a mechanical dullard)
