Passing 50000m mark:)

My 2 year old GSA just passed 50000 miles, coming home from AZ on a Grand Canyon ride. Its running swell, especially smooth at 80-85 mph on Interstate 40. The limit is 75 in AZ, so I'm not really speeding too much here! Gas consumption on AZ gas is about 40-42 mpg's:), less in California with its treated gasolines:(. No problems since my gas gauge(strip in tank) quit working riding the Outer Banks, NC last year, far from home. Morton's BMW fixed it right away:). The GSA is still a keeper, with fewer issues, the longer I ride it:), Knock on a really BIG tree(wood)...... Randy :usa

Try'in hard:)

I want to keep this one going well past the 100000 mark. Yeah:)...Its quirky with noises, but runs fine! Sometimes I get the valve tappets, etc. just noising away and other times its dead quiet? I do my own and know they are set right:). Rocker arms have entered my mind lately, but I'm leaving them alone for now. They are a bit loose, I know @ .012 the last time checked, but they have a wide range according to my BMW dealer. Anyhow, here's to all those building higher miles on a Hex engine:). A man and his machine in harmony - a beautiful thing.

Don't even stop at the 100k mark - just keep on going! :german
