New to me R1200GS

Greeting all. I recently purchased a 2017 R12GS, 20.5k miles, with lots of extras. She'll be a huge change from my '85K100RS in more ways than one. Finally got the GS out for the first time today and all I can say is WOW - looking forward to many road miles with her.

One question: what service/repair manual(s) are you all using? I plan to do my own maintenance (have a Clymer for my K-bike) as much as I can (engine re-build probably out of the question). I see the Jim Von Baden option in the Resouces links, wondering if there are other options out there.

Thanks,
Tony.

Good for you finding a Jem like that. I too have my second “New to me” slightly used GS. I will do a little of my own maintenance but am lucky to have a great independent mechanic to help with the stuff above my pay grade. Enjoy!

Congrats with your ride!!👍
There are also quite a number of great YouTube videos available on top of the Clymer/Haynes manuals for a more visual aid in maintaining the bike.

Try BoxFlyer utube, he has a series of R1200RTW service utubes, very good. The tools are the hard part to find.
