Hi all!
Just wanted to thank you. I just registered to what appears to be an awesome group of riders and an invaluable source of great info.

I'm from Montreal, Canada.
A little too cold for riding right now (huge understatement) but looking forward to the next riding season, which can't come soon enough!

I'm back on 2 (motorized) wheels after a break of a few years.
I got myself a great deal on a 2005 R1200RT. Far from new, but in great shape.
It's my first touring bike after more than a dozen other bikes (dirt, enduro, roadster, sport).
Should be fun to cover serious miles in some comfort!

See you around!

Welcome to the forum and to BMW! With the RT in the stable, I can imagine that you're out in the garage making vroooom sounds a bit too often!!
