Hi all:
I live just up the hill (to the south) of the Evergreen Air Museum in McMinnville for those of you going to the Rally and taking that trip. So when you get to the parking lot, look at the hill a couple miles to the south and waive.

I am also the proud new owner of a nicely cared for 2000 R1150GS. The other half will now claim me in polite company, as she has had a 2003 CS for over a year and kept saying my KLR showed bad taste in motorcycles :laugh

Looking forward to many many GS miles

keep the dirty side down.

Welcome to the Forum. KLR's have their place, as do most other bikes. Think of them as shoes. You don't own or wear just one type all the time. This is a great excuse to buy many bikes. Each one for a certain type of ride.

But then, I have been known to walk into a fancy restaurant with my BMW boots on. Oh, and the riding pants too. People mahy stare a bit, but I'm comfortable so who cares. Go buy another bike! And give us a ride report with pictures!

Welcome Aboard

I'm also in the neighborhood. 1 mile south of hopewell. Most of the time you may see me around on a white R90 with an "S" fairing. Hope to meet you some time.
