New Guy From Michigan

Hi All,

As the title says I am new to the organization. A few years back I purchased my first RT, an 09. It was love at first sight. She has been a great bike. I ride her every chance I get. We have taken a few trips through the mid-west and the southwest US. Also a couple of trips to Ontario, Canada. I love to travel on the bike.
Last week, I came across a deal I couldn't pass up. I found a '16 RT in Miami. The bike has less than 4300 miles, and she was priced right. I pulled the trigger and did my first fly and ride. I have to say the wethead is an AMAZING piece of motorcycling machinery. Wow, what a bike. I spent a couple of days riding around Florida before heading north. She is now safely tucked away in the barn. It' going to be a long 4-5 months until spring.

I'm looking forward to making new friends, exchanging information and learning more about the BMW community.

Best,

Hey, welcome to the group! Congrats on the new bike! If the weather keeps up (at least here in SW MI), spring may not be that far away. Have seen a few bikes out, one passed me this AM on the way to work. I suspect the current nice spell is not going to be long lasting.

Those are fun, eh?

Welcome here

Ian

More fun that I imagined. It was nice to arrive and find the bike was in the exact condition as described by the owner. Plus, he was a great guy.
I wouldn't hesitate to do another one.
