New Exhaust Pipe for R1100R

I have a 1995 R1100R and the exhaust pipe is wearing out and needs to be replaced. I've already got a D&D pipe that the last owner put on, and I like the sound OK but I don't know much about different brands. Any advice for brands to look for or avoid? Also, any tips on switching the pipes or pitfalls I should look out for?

You can go to a lower pipe and fullsize system case on the left(I did this on same bike) by using a junkyard/ebay/boneyard OEM exhaust off of a ?(help me here) r1100r??? I only had to fabricate a short length of aluminum bar stock to hang the other system on my bike. This has been done plenty, so search out lowered exhaust for you bike.
