Neutral Switch - How Tight

I tried to find the answer to this in two different manuals and on some YouTube videos, but I couldn’t seem to find the answer. I need to replace the transmission neutral switch, but I can’t seem to figure out how tight to fasten the switch. Just snug tight or is there a torque spec for this.

I checked Snowbum's site...he doesn't suggest a torque value. Just snug it appears. Too tight and you'll distort the switch internals and it will leak through the switch. All you're trying to do is stop leaking through the threaded connection.

Not sure of Brook Reams discusses this on one of his bike builds.

Snug

I don't recall ever seeing a torque spec. Snug will do.

LOL, an old mechanic once told me not to exceed the power of the tool you are using. In other words, if a standard wrench fits the bolt, tighten, tight but don't add a length of pipe to the wrench to make things better. St.
