Nav VI gone again!

Still like the Nav VI, and the use of the wonder wheel, but overtime the screen gets funky, I think , oh here we go again. This time I am sending it to an independent third party shop for repair, it may cost a little but hopefully it will "keep on ticking" like watches of old and carry me on many more adventures.

This was a problem with my Garmin 2610 - 15 years ago - and it seems they still haven't solved it.

I've got two in my eWaste box if anyone wants them.

Yeap got the email too.. Still waiting for instructions.. This will be my 2nd replacement.. Started failing in Newfoundland and I had to nurse it until I got home to BC. Hope the new one works for more than a year or two.

They contacted me and true to their word, sent me the info to get a new unit 2 weeks later.

I sometimes imagine the only buyers of Garmin Nav VI who haven’t reported a failure, also have Garmin software driving their computer on which they would have reported the failure. How do they sale such devices?
