Nav 5 connection to 2020 RT

I have a 2020 1250RT. I also have a 2016 1200GS with a Nav 5? In the past I have used the Nav 5 in the RT with it's limited functionality from the wonder wheel. I put the gps in the RT this spring and the wonder wheel does nothing. I can find the motorcycle information in the gps by using the screen buttons, speed, coolant temps, heading and so forth. But the wonder wheel will not zoom in or out and I cannot change pages. It will shut the screen off and on. Any thoughts?

Did you update the software on the Nav 5 or was the bike’s software updated at a dealer?

I haven't done any software updates. Maybe I need to.

I'd clean the contacts on both the mount and the GPS
