Mysterious ball bearings

New member
I have a r1100 rs 96. I have found several steel balls .152 inches or 3.88 MM diameter. They were found on the floor under and around the motorcycle. I don't know if they are from motorcycle or not. Does anyone if there are ball bearings of this size on the R1100rs ? Thank you!
Jerry

Yes, but it would be impossible for them to get onto the floor with no side effects. Shift drum bearing at the rear of the transmission. Front wheel bearings probably are larger.

Most of the bearings that are exposed to the outside are needles or tapered rollers. Clutch arm, swingarm pivot, etc.
