JB1973R75S5

New member
During move, my RT tool kit was lost.
I have found replacements for all except the 8mm pin that slips into the spark plug wrench.

If someone has one they are willing to sell, please let me know
Thanks

I'd suggest that you use the Flea Market link at the top of the page. The forum guidelines don't allow buying/selling items through the forum. That said, this is the "tommy bar" and just about any round bar stock of the right size will work. Even a screwdriver that will fit through the holes will work quite well. Good luck!

It is just a metal rod. Go to any metal by the foot place, or good hardware store and get a piece of metal rod.

But.......but......... I just gotta have an original don't I?????????????????? How can my vintage machine be vintage if it isn't all original stuff from the mothership???????????

...my vintage machine...

The machine will get over it! Besides, I don't think that tires still have Bavarian air in them! :stick

Besides, isn't the '82 a "classic"...vintage begins prior to 1970. I guess it depends on who's doing the dating!! :love

8mm rod can also be purchased from McMaster-Carr, in most types of metals. I think that they may even have already zinc plated.

Also,

Where in SC did you move? I moved down about a year ago, to Easley, near Greenville.

If you want an 8MM rod that won't bend like cheese, order a piece of 8mm drill rod from someplace like Enco or Brownells. 8mm is .312" in case you can find an SAE equivalent.

That's just an ordinary chunk of metal. Travel lighter and use one of your screwdrivers on it.
That thing isn't any good anyway, as you can't torque with it. And you should torque your plugs.

I still have mine. .. . :lurk

We're only talking 10-15 ft/lb depending on reach length.
