Mothers Back to black

What were we talking about? Oh yeah, H bought a six unit case years ago…still using it :laugh

Now if I can only figure out what product to use to try and clean the headers on this seriously neglected 2008 GSA...

Talking to yourself is fine.
Answering yourself is OK too.
It's when you go, "Huh? Wha'd you say?" that you're in trouble.

I have used Mothers Back to Black, and still have some. What I really like now is Maxima SC1. Not only does it make the plastics on my 2020 R 1250GS look new, it also makes the black paint on the engine/transmission/driveshaft look like new. Some people call this product 'New bike in a can'. It is not inexpensive, but it does make the bike look new. https://maximausa.com/images/F198646290.png

I've been using this product called back to back by mothers on my black plastic parts on the RS. Brings the plastic back to looking like new. Lasts about 3 months per application and 4x a year it will take several years to go through the product..

Anyone else use this product?

I have used it for years and have found that with regular use over time the black plastic retains a progressively better base finish. There is a spray can version which is very handy for getting to complicated areas like car grills and vents.
