Motel between Milwaukee - Madison?

BMW Triumphant

Ed Kilner #176066
On Friday, June 1, i plan to arrive Milwaukee on the ferry at 6:45 and head towards Madison. I will be tired, Coming from just west of Toronto, had planned to get a room at the interchange on the east of Madison. Don't think i could make it much more west... There seems to be a number of chain hotels around that interchange 94 / 151.

So, anybody know a good but inexpensive mom and pop on the way?

Could consider a campground, but the map shows a pretty built-up area the whole way.

Anybody got a suggestion? :)

Ed - As you travel towards Madison, on the east side, right near major highways you'll use next morning, is the Rodeway Inn. I have stayed there a number of times "on the WI State DOT dime" when attending training in the Madison area.

Nothing fancy, but clean and reasonable. Perkins right next door, or many other area restaurants, gas stations, a mall, etc.

Here is contact info: Rodeway Inn @ 4845 Hayes Road, Madison, WI, Phone - 1-608-249-1815.

Good Luck! :bikes

Thanks

Found it on my map. That is one of the places i had been thinking of. Love these electronic maps.

Great to have an endorsement.
