LOW SUSPENSION OPTION AVAILABLE ON NEW BMW F 800 S AND F 800 ST MODELS

Woodcliff Lake, NJ - June 11, 2007... BMW Motorrad is offering a low suspension option on its newly released F 800 S and F 800 ST models, beginning in June 2007. This option (order number 499) lowers the F 800 S and F 800 ST by using a different, shorter rear spring strut. It comes packaged with a low seat (option number 774) for both models, bringing the final seat height to 29.9 inches.
The low suspension option cannot be combined with the optional centerstand for the F 800 ST; and the optional center stand is not available for the F 800 S.

The low suspension option is available at authorized BMW Motorrad USA retailers and has a manufacturers suggested retail price of $175.00.

The sporting F 800 S and its sister model, the sporttouring-oriented F 800 ST, were introduced this Spring, establishing the all-new BMW Motorrad twin-cylinder model line. With its parallel twin four-valve engine developed by BMW Motorrad in close cooperation with Austrian specialist Bombardier-Rotax GmbH, the two-cylinder model series combines impressive torque and power, superior responsiveness and good fuel economy -- all in one. After a short development period, the F 800 S and F 800 ST form BMW Motorrad's 5th engine series, setting the foundation for more models to come through which BMW will be closing the gap between the F 650 single-cylinders and its flat-twin models.

The F800 models are available at BMW Motorrad retailers with optional two-channel ABS, a wide range of special equipment, and personalization options to meet the demands of the most discriminating motorcycle enthusiasts.

ROLLS-ROYCE OPENS FOR BUSINESS IN ST. PETERSBURG

A new Rolls-Royce showroom was officially opened today in St Petersburg by Ian Robertson, the Chairman and CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. This is the second Rolls-Royce showroom in Russia, reflecting the importance of the Russian market to the continued development of Rolls-Royce in Europe.

The grand opening was marked by a cannon shot from the Petropavlovskaya fortress; a tradition to signal the most important events which take place in the city.

Ian Robertson said, ÔÇ£We are delighted to open for business in St. Petersburg, with this outstanding new showroom. Russia is a very important market for Rolls-Royce in continental Europe and we anticipate further growth, making it a key part of our future development plans.ÔÇØ He added, ÔÇ£Our dealer in Russia has many years experience in the luxury car segment in Moscow and so is uniquely positioned to provide a perfect service for our discerning clientele in St. Petersburg as wellÔÇØ.

The addition of this new showroom in St. Petersburg brings the total number in continental Europe to 19.

In 2007, Rolls-Royce will have a three model line-up, with the new convertible, the Phantom Drophead Coup?®, set to join the two four-door models in Russia in the 4th quarter of 2007. The Phantom remains the best-selling super luxury car in the world, with sales in 2006 at a 16-year-high. A new Rolls-Royce model, priced slightly below the Phantom, will be launched around the turn of the decade.

BMW Sauber F1 Team - USA Grand Prix - Driver Line-up

Sebastian Vettel to step in for Robert Kubica in Indianapolis.
Indianapolis (Indiana, USA), 14th June 2007. After Robert Kubica did not get the green light from the FIA Medical Delegate and the race's Director of Medical Services to compete in the 2007 U.S. Grand Prix, the team has nominated Sebastian Vettel to drive the second BMW Sauber F1.07 (car number 10) alongside Nick Heidfeld.

For Sebastian Vettel this will be his Formula One race debut. "Of course, I am looking forward to my first F1 race", the 19-year old German said, "but I wish it had come under different circumstances. It's never nice if a team mate can't drive because he had an accident. For me the Indianapolis Speedway is unknown territory, but I have prepared myself for this situation and tomorrow I have two 90 minute practice sessions. I know the car very well as I have quite a lot of testing miles under my belt."

The team's second test driver, Timo Glock, is also in Indianapolis and will now be nominated as the reserve driver.

Robert Kubica commented after the decision: "Naturally I'm disappointed because I felt absolutely ready to race. But I respect the decision. It was made because there is too much risk to let me race in this Grand Prix in case I have had another impact so soon after Montr?®al. I will go home now. I wish Sebastian all the best. It is good for him and I am pretty sure he will do a good job."

BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen: "In reviewing the accident and medical examination the doctors did not give Robert the green light to race. There will be another medical check before the race in Magny-Cours. Although the doctors see Robert in a remarkably good condition they will not let him race here mainly because of the risk of another impact. We respect the decision of the medical personnel. The team was prepared for this situation. Sebastian will receive all possible support from us and we hope for another good race here."
