Ironically just yesterday accessed Jim’s site to get the torque specs for my 1250. The tightening torque for the spark plugs wasn’t in the owners manual. As I suspected it had not changed from the 2016 RT. The spark plug itself, had in fact changed, which makes sense as the engine has changed.

They're incredibly useful. I've also gotten into filming some of my own bike maintenance tutorials. I shoot with a GoPro, which captures everything in great detail, and then I tidy up the footage using this free video editing software no watermark, keeping everything looking clean and professional.

I'm almost all loaded up with my 16x7 Maintenance Trailer to haul it down to the START Rally in Newport, TN for a week of primarily doing Cam Timing and Valve Clearance Checks for FREE.

Lots of other services are available, like tire changes, bearing replacement, speed bleeder, TPMS and brake service, final drive service, service light resets and Adaptive Values Resets.

I also have a bike coming in while there that I will replace all 4 Cams and 8 Followers...this too for FREE. The owner already paid for the NEW parts.

We have an ART's Rally (Appalachian Riding Tour) each Spring (START) and Fall (FART) somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains where the riding is very, very good.

I'm one of the organizers of the event and we have lots of great people and great riding...as well as maintenance seminars, GPS Training and a couple of planned meals that are always a BIG HIT! No registration or entrance FEE, as we are not in this to make money, just enjoy the fellowship and knowledge.
